VE 80 Day in P4G

Today P4G celebrated VE Day, and the end of World War II in Europe 80 years ago. This was a World Around Us topic for P4G in Term 1, and it was great to hear how much the children had remembered.
We enjoyed making flags, badges, bunting and cards, and decorated buns to enjoy at our afternoon tea party. We are also incredibly grateful to Mid and East Antrim Borough Council for supplying us with wonderful colouring books which focus on local war efforts and memorials - thank you!
