On Friday 10th June 2016 Oakfield Primary School hosted a tea party celebration to mark the Queen’s 90th Birthday. This event was part of the Shared Education project between Oakfield Primary School and Acorn Integrated Primary School. The children enjoyed a presentation about the life of the Queen from Primary 5 pupils. They were also entertained by some Primary 6 pupils who performed their own poetry about our monarch. Following this formal part of the event, the children, teachers and principals from both schools enjoyed a wonderful tea party together. Everyone had great fun and great food – always a winning combination.
