October in Mrs Wylie’s class
In October we have been enjoying afternoons in nursery. We especially like table top activities. We have welcomed lots of visitors. We had our first Poppin Pilates session with Liza, Jo Jingles with Gillian and Forest School with our P6 buddies. We really enjoyed having our grown-ups along to the Gruffalo trail. It was VERY wet but we were suited and booted and so had lots of fun in Oakfield Glen. We then shared snack together in the canteen. It was lovely that our P6 buddies could meet our grown-ups! We also visited our senior friends in Carrickfergus Manor. We sang, heard a story and did action rhymes.
Probably the best part of a busy month was getting our entire outdoor area back into action. We were very excited to have the vehicles out and have been brilliant at sharing and waiting our turn! We finished off our first half term by celebrating ‘slip into slippers’ to raise money for Age NI and with an ‘Oakfield Happy Meal’ for our dinner!
