May in Mrs Wylie’s class
An aMAYzing month!
Our penultimate month in nursery has had lots of memorable events!
We celebrated Number Day, World Bee Day and VE Day! We enjoyed a visit from Gary and planted sunflower seeds to take home and look after. We’ve had sessions with Uplift and have been thinking about the 5 steps to wellbeing through different activities and dances. We have been learning lots about bugs and beasts and were very excited to welcome live caterpillars into our class. We are now patiently waiting for them to come out of their chrysalises and be beautiful butterflies!
We have had lots of fun in the sun in our nursery garden. We also had a very special visit to Carrickfergus Manor. Our senior friends were so pleased to see us. We sang ‘Wiggly Woo’ and read ‘Superworm’! Thank you to Cindy and the staff for making us feel so welcome and treating us to ice lollies!
