We really enjoyed our visit from John Stewart today, and very much appreciate him finding time for us in his busy schedule. He talked to us about his role in the Armed Forces, and the importance of the poppy and remembering, and then we took part in a short Act of Remembrance together. John was extremely patient and answered every question we threw at him! We also received two copies of his beautiful book, 'The Carrickfergus Great War Roll of Honour'. Thank you John Stewart MLA!
