We were all so excited to be going to the Civic Centre on Friday. The firefighters brought their brand new fire engine for us to see. We saw all the equipment it carries and learnt what it was used for. We were even able to sit inside, where the firefighters sit when they are going to a “call”.
Then we went to see Carrickfergus’s very first fire engine. We learnt lots of new facts!
