Today we visited the Fire Station and the Civic Centre. We saw the fire engine and all the equipment the fire fighters use. We learnt how to be safe in our homes and what to do if there is a fire or an emergency. Next we went to see Carrickfergus's first fire engine. We listened carefully to information about it and then answered questions and drew a picture of it. We had a brilliant morning and are really looking forward to starting our 'Fire and Safety' topic.
