Celebrating Roald Dahl Day - September 2016

12th Oct 2016

On 13th September 2016 P4/5 celebrated the centenary of Roald Dahl's birth by having a scrumdidlyumptious tea party.  We had fizzy lifting juice, George's marvellous medicine and even some Frobscottle!  Everyone enjoying sampling James and the Giant Peach Pie but the favourite of the day was Bruce Bogtrotter's chocolate cake.

We began the celebrations by reporting our favourite Roald Dahl book, followed by some gobblegunk literacy and numeracy.  In the afternoon we dressed up as our favourite Roald Dahl character.  Mrs Black was very impressed by how authentic we looked!

It was such a good day and I'm sure that Roald Dahl himself would have been proud of the efforts made by all in P4/5B!
