The boys and girls in P5/6 McI were very excited to return to the classroom this week, not only to reconnect with their friends and teachers, but to do the fun, creative and practical activities linked to out topic ‘The Vikings’.
Along with timetabled activities and discussions of reflection, P5/6 finally got to make their swords and shields and act out as Viking warriors when they first invaded Great Britain.
Everyone participated fully and imaginatively, showing real interest and understanding of who the Vikings were.
