April in Mrs Wylie’s class
April began with showers, puddle suits and wellies and ended with sunshine and picnics! We have been learning lots about growing and lifecycles. We have watched our tiny caterpillars grow and are now patiently watching and waiting for them to emerge from their chrysalises and be beautiful butterflies. We planted vegetables in our nursery garden and sunflower seeds to take home with Gary from Inver Garden centre. We have been busy watering to make sure our plants and vegetables have enough to drink. We enjoyed a story in our Forest School garden had fun exploring. We have also been thinking about how much we have grown and celebrating what we can now do that we couldn’t do when we started nursery.
