An Awesome April in Mrs Keaveney’s Class
It has been a very busy few weeks in nursery. We have been learning about the lifecycles of frogs and caterpillars and learning P7 words like ‘metamorphosis’! We have loved watching our own caterpillars growing, building their chrysalises and can’t wait to see the butterflies appear.
We loved having Gary from Inver Garden Centre in nursery to plant vegetables and plants with us and can’t wait until our own sunflower seeds start to grow. Ask us all about the different parts of a plant, we are experts!!
We have also had a visit from Gillian and Jo Jingles when we sang songs about worms, caterpillars and butterflies! We enjoyed our first wellbeing session with Uplift in which we learned about connecting with each other. Our favourite part was dancing to ‘You’ve got a friend in me’!
With the arrival of some sunshine we have spent some time on the big field in the primary school, playing games, looking for bugs and spending time with our P6 buddies!
