Stephen and Caroline visited P5 &P6 for the first of our Scripture Union sessions all about Amazing Jesus. To begin with we had to imagine what it was to be like in a crowd. We acted out one of Stephen's scenes of being at a rock concert – we played our imaginary instruments really well and even got an encore!
We then got to study a miracle story from Mark's gospel – The feeding of 5000 people. Some of us took it in turn to read the story and then we had to think about how we would feed 300 people in our school. There were very interesting menu choices – pizza proving very popular. To finish we thought about one good deed we could do for someone else. As it was friendship week some us thought about how we could help our friends, but others said we would do a job at home to help mum and dad!
